Deputy Project Manager

With broad direction, responsible for managing all on site functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company on medium-sized projects (typically 250,000 to 2 million construction man hours or building projects of $15 to $75 million). Responsibilities may include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, owner/architect/engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required Owner and in-house reporting. Possesses a working knowledge of the respective industry. Supervises all personnel at the site, through subordinate leaders. On EPC projects, reports to the Project Manager - EPC. May serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized construction projects or handle bid packages on larger projects. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field and 8-12 years of related experience.
