Description:Performs the following fabrication and assembly activities:
Fabricates Electronic Assemblies and Sub-Assemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, enclosures, and cables.
Assembles wiring harnesses and install/route/terminate wiring to components.
Performs PC Board assembly soldering, surface mount and through hole.
Performs soldering in accordance with DOD-STD-2000A and relevant commercial standards (ex: J-STD-001).
Performs mechanical assemblies, as required.
Works from approved Assembly Procedures; approved Schematics, Blueprints, Diagrams and/or Drawings; and Wiring Lists.
Uses Multi-meters and other electronic test equipment to make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
Periodically conducts quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Employee must work in a flexible team environment and under minimal supervision and possess basic computer skills for tracking work and providing status.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to perform a variety of task ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, cable/harness fabrication and integration.
Read and understand assembly procedures, schematics, blueprints, diagrams and/or drawings and wiring lists.
Use multi-meters and other electronic test equipment to make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
Desired Skills:
IPC-WHMA-A-620, or J-STD-001 certified.
