Looking for a database administrator with experience in database architecture and data management for various organizations.  The group provides a variety of data/database related services offering both database infrastructure and database development/support services along with consulting services.




Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree (or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree) 
  • 2 – 3 years of experience with Access, MySQL, and/or SQL databases.

  • Analyze database requirements of assigned projects.

  • Analyze and determine information needs and elements, database relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities.

  • Apply knowledge of database management systems to coordinate maintenance and changes to databases.

  • Provide administrative support specifically dedicated to the requirements of the project team.

  • Perform queries data research and reports generation activities.

  • Knowledge of relational database environment.

 Desired Skills:

  • Provide highly technical expertise in the use of DBMS.

  • Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.

  • Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.

  • Test and assist in the implementation of changes or new database designs.

  • Monitor database usage and statistics.

Clearance Requirement:


  • Must currently possess a Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance.
