Job Description Summary
Evaluates, analyzes, designs and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Analyzes, tests, and implements HRIS computer system modules including, but not limited to, human resources, compensation, payroll, benefits, etc.
Partner with business (HR) and technical resources (IT) to address business information and application needs. Research system changes to help achieve the goals of the functional groups within HR. Evaluate and test system changes prior to implementation to ensure that business needs are met. Participate in the implementation of new HR systems and participate in upgrades and / or new releases. Create, modify and execute jobs and programs. Provide daily interface between vendors, payroll systems and Workday to assist with troubleshooting, transferring files, etc. Manage cultural and technological changes, consulting with the appropriate business partners to drive organizational changes as necessary. Research, correct and/or reconcile daily system/user errors as identified through reports or as referred by clients. Liaison to IT for the various functions within HR. Coordinate with IT to correct errors and inconsistencies in software applications. Ensure assigned systems, procedures, projects and reports are in compliance with internal policies and procedures, in addition to laws and regulations which apply. Identify process improvement opportunities within existing departmental policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate documentation, implementation and communication of these changes. Provide project support to multiple areas, including non-HR areas, involving multiple, complex ad hoc requests for data and/or reports. Provide leadership and direction to the team of analysts through training, coaching and mentoring. May perform as project lead for specific jobs that are large and/or complex, coordinating team members through project completion.
