Join GDIT and be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The NETCENTS program is searching for a Sr. Software Engineer to join them in St. Louis, MO.
Designs, develops, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing software
Researches and integrates design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities
Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations
Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity
Researches emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution
Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software operating systems and application issues
Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and Government policies and standards
May serve as a task leader or representative for meetings and design interaction.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
2–5 years of related software development experience
1–3 years of experience with Angular, AngularJS, Spring, and/or SpringBoot
1–3 years of experience with Eclipse and jUnit is desired
Familiarity with AWS Cloud tools and processes is desired (Jenkins, Chef, EC2 provisioning, etc.)
Experience with Rational Team Concert is desirable
Security+ is desirable
