J39-SAB Project Officers. Raytheon High Consequence Missions is seeking Special Project Officers to support the J39-Special Activities Branch (SAB) in the planning and execution of operations by drafting and maintaining currency of policies, programs, and other regulatory documents. The Project Officer shall assist with conducting conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings. The Project Officer shall support mission requirements and advise senior leadership on issues to tailor J39-SAB sensitive activities (SA) efforts.

Travel – Position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Tasks include:

Develop, synchronize, and prioritize J39-SAB SA capabilities and efforts in accordance with (IAW) the Campaign Plan for Global Special Operations (CP-GSO), Global Special Operations Synchronization (GSOS), the Strategic Planning Process (SPP), and SOF Capabilities, Integration, and Development System (SOFCIDS).

Coordinate staff actions to enable collaboration between the OSD, USD(I), Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (USD(P), ASD(SO/LIC), JS, and the IC to ensure integration with J39-SAB.

Coordinate staff actions that ensure integration between theater SOF, National Mission Force, operational capabilities, and critical SA enablers.

Draft, review, and staff J39-SAB SA-specific requirements, plans, and supporting actions IAW DOD and USSOCOM policy and guidance.

Draft, edit, and review strategy and guidance to facilitate SA coordination across the SOF enterprise; including synchronizing of SOF SA; prioritizing and assessing SOF SA operations, activities, and actions; and supporting the development of capabilities within an established HQ USSOCOM framework.

Prepare, edit, review, staff, and provide recommendations for SOF specific SA related plans, policies, and documents for briefings and action.

Plan, coordinate, and conduct conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings to support mission planning objectives and directed tasks.

Conduct staffing and records keeping for J39-SAB SA-related documents.


Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in any field, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 10 years of military/DOD experience
  • 5 years’ experience with strategic plans and processes
  • Completed at least one JS, COCOM, or regional theater command assignment
  • 5 years of SOF core activities experience (e.g., direct action, special reconnaissance, counter proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, counterinsurgency, information operations, military information support operations, civil affairs operations
  • 5 years of experience in IO operational methods; and techniques, tactics, and procedures; with an emphasis on influence in the information environment
  • 5 years of experience staffing documents and activities conducted in support of DOD objectives, and conducting high-priority special assignments involving extensive research and/or analysis
  • 5 years of experience with the organization, functions, policy development, and coordination processes of the DOD and the IC
  • Current Top Secret clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information
