As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. Job Description:
As a member of the S3 Finance Team, the individual will be responsible for developing models to assess financial performance, identifying and tracking metrics such as sales trends, margin analyses, business drivers, market influences, making recommendations for improvement and reconciliations. It also requires focusing on process improvements in order to drive forecasting predictability. This position includes working with the program and contracts personnel in determining any barriers to the collection of cash, continual improvement of processes to collect cash faster, analysis of contract terms on the collection of cash, and tracking cash metrics.

  • Learning and having first-hand interaction in the development of financial reporting and analysis
  • Using the program performance information and analytics and excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal/external dissemination across varying levels of management

Required Skills:
  • Ability to learn quickly and assess a fast-paced, changing environment that requires an energized curiosity for learning.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills that allow for a focus on common finance goals by setting priorities and working to fulfill deadlines and commitments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with a strong understanding of Excel.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education (including major): Must have a BS / BA with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field by Summer 2019 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
