The Raytheon Missile System (RMS) Logistics Program Asset Management organization is seeking a self-motivated energetic individual to be responsible for ensuring government, customer, and company owned property is managed efficiently and in compliance with contracts, regulations, and sound business practices. This position will be supporting multiple programs and product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible to monitor, assist, maintain, coordinate and review all Government Furnished Property/Material (GFP/GFM) requirements to ensure compliance with RMS Property Control directives and Contract requirements. The candidate will work independently on assignments and perform under the guidance of team leads to resolve problems of moderate complexity by interpreting policies and procedures and developing solution of moderate scope, impact, and complexity.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Ensure property management compliance through the entire property lifecycle from acquisition to disposition of RMS managed assets
•Conducting and coordinating physical inventories, utilization, and retention reviews of customer and company property
•Training and educating and mentoring others in property management policies and procedures
•Responsible for Program Property Playbook (GFP/GFM listings) accuracy and work with program management to ensure appropriate lifecycle management
•Attend meetings with the Program Office and Navy Technical Representative Office to review GFP/GFM matters
•Inform Navy Tech Rep of any assets needing maintenance and estimated completion date the asset will be repaired
•Monitor the movement and or out bound shipping of GFM assigned to programs including documentation for assets being shipped on or off plant site
•Work with engineering to ensure the GFE Asset Management processes are being followed


•BS or four year degree in related field
•Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written, are required to effectively work with internal and external personnel
•Ethical behavior, a positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to success in this position
•Professional and comfortable working with management and customers
•Team player, willing to work in a cross-team environment and comfortable with a consistently changing/evolving program philosophy that requires “out of the box thinking”
•Self-starter that requires little supervision and capable of working in a fast paced environment
•EXIM knowledge and experience
•Detailed oriented and efficient
•Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•6 years’ experience in related field
•Experience with contracts and writing CDRL’s

Required Education:

Bachelor degree from an Accredited University

Desired skills:

•Six Sigma Knowledge/Certification
•MS Access knowledge
•SharePoint knowledge
•Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Property Management, Materials Management, and Government contract regulations
•Familiarity with an ERP system such as SAP and asset tracking software
•Ability to learn how to research and retrieve information and perform transactions in various business systems utilized by Property
Management such as PRISM, UPS, PRS and PDM
•Experience working in a classified environment
