KBR has a fantastic career opportunity for a cadet drafter to join an established Mechanical Engineering team that supports our multi-million dollar civil infrastructure Projects. This is a great opportunity for career development working with a global Engineering Consultancy.

The key focus of this role

is to assist the Mechanical Engineering team to set up drawings and basic 3D models, using computer

aided design software.

Responsibilities include:

Undertakes

electronic filing and configuration control actions on their own work.

Supports senior

designers and engineers with paraprofessional engineering tasks.

Extracts basic

information from engineering specifications, standards and supplier literature to

apply to drafting tasks.

Work in

multidisciplinary teams to develop understanding of the engineering workflow

process

Required Qualifications:

Vocational training via TAFE or other tertiary

institutions, Certificate IV or Diploma level in Engineering Design and

Drafting or similar

Trained to introductory level in a 3D CAD software

application, eg

AutoCAD 3D,

REVIT, MICROSTATION, TEKLA.

Demonstrated interest in practical applications

of technology in society.

Ability to think and work independently and as

part of a team.
