Transforming Forensics is an emergent complex business change national programme.

It will support forensic science across law enforcement to meet the challenges and deliver the enduring change that this once in a generation opportunity presents.

Reports to the PMO Lead providing support to the Programme Management team in general and specifically the PMO Lead.

Coordinate / collate Programme governance reporting on overall programme status (i.e. ERB, PRB, Chaucer, Bi-Weekly PMO Report, etc)

Develop and maintain PMO Dashboard

Maintain governance board documentation library

Maintain programme wide support documentation (i.e. RASCI, Glossary, LERP, HSSE)

Develop and maintain Programme onboarding packs, liaising with HR and wider team

Responsible for the onboarding of new starters onto the Programme

Support developing and implementing programme PMO processes

Provide guidance / training to Programme team on PMO process

Coordinate / facilitate lessons learnt capture across the programme

Coordinate / support Programme Assurance Reviews (i.e. PAR) – as necessary

Maintain force engagement maps

Support stakeholder engagement activities (as required), for example event planning for cohort event

Any other duties as required to support the programme team and PMO deliver

Qualifications:

Desirable:

Degree or equivalent in a business or science related subject

Experience and Skills

Essential:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent planning and organisational skills - prioritising workloads whilst adhering to strict deadlines

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

Able to work as part of a team and to have a flexible approach to work.

Able to use initiative and be able to communicate effectively to resolve minor problems face to face, over the telephone and in writing

Able to take personal responsibility for making things happen and achieving results, whilst displaying motivation, commitment, perseverance, conscientiousness and a high degree of integrity

Must be able to manage Outlook (replying to emails, setting up appointments, etc)

Must be proficient in Excel (able to create, modify and maintain spreadsheets.)

Able to follow processes and procedures, identify ways to streamline processes, and identification / set up of new processes

Must be BPSS level (as a minimum)
