Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree is required or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Due to the nature of work performed at our facilities, US citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
•Performs a variety of duties in support of end-point computing devices and peripherals
•Responds to and diagnoses problems and answers queries regarding computer hardware, software, network and telecommunications systems
•Maintains and updates records and tracking databases
•Ability to build workspace images and support and verify the correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, work processing and spreadsheet programs
•Provides analysis, design, implementation, and end user support of distributed systems
•Handles 3rd tier problems that the first/second tier or help desk support are unable to resolve
•Analyzes computing needs and defines hardware and software standards and configurations
• Customizes, packages, tests, and deploys applications (COTS and internally developed) to end-points
•Responds to software deployment requests and configure software by utilizing a variety of software packaging tools
•Performs any required software patching and security remediation
•Participates and may lead projects and IT initiatives on as needed basis
Administers and supports networked PC systems
May be responsible for the day-to-day support of Infrastructure services that include servers and storage
May be responsible to monitor Infrastructure performance using monitoring tools
May be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
May be responsible maintaining the integrity and security of servers and systems
May perform OS and vendor software patching on servers
May perform troubleshooting and does analysis of alerts on servers
May run scripts and tools to automate repetitive processes and provides inputs for improvements
May troubleshoot Server technical issues and communicates status to Server team and stakeholders
Assists in the installation, implementation, and upgrades of internal systems
May maintain a tracking system for usage evaluation
Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies
Troubleshoots, maintains, and monitors, external and internal hard drives, printers, plotters and scanners
May be internal and external client-focused for company-hosted web-enabled solutions

•Fully proficient ability to build workspace images and support and verify the correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, work processing and spreadsheet programs

Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Also needs a working knowledge of VDI.
