The A&MDS Advanced Finance organization is seeking an individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst II supporting the Engineering Services and Depot Programs. Responsibilities include tailored Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, data analysis and reporting, and baseline establishment and maintenance. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting senior analysts on multiple contracts. The person filling this role will provide support and financial guidance to Program Directors, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs) and support monthly program business reviews.

Minimum Required Skills

  • Bachelor degree Business, Finance, Management, Economics, Mathematics or related field and 2 years of related experience
  • Experience collaborating with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc...) in program development and execution
  • Able to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to develop and apply solutions and recommend process improvements
  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems or similar system
  • Strong desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

  • Experience in providing business support for contract activities, utilizing cost/schedule performance measurement systems (Earned Value Management System)

  • Experience using PMX Tool Suite, APEX EV, wlnsight or similar EVM tools
  • Existing Secret Clearance
