SAIC is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to join our Chantilly, VA team. The candidate will provide IT solutions and maintenance for distributed learning management systems supporting User Engagement Support (UES) effort for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The UES program provides: Training, Education and Exercise Support; NRO Enterprise Strategic Outreach; and User Engagement Outreach. UES enables users to leverage enterprise capabilities to solve operational and intelligence problems to influence system investment decisions to meet current and future needs. The major activities for UES are to understand user needs and identify capability gaps, deliver focused NRO solutions, provide training and education, provide users with visibility into and opportunities to influence NRO decisions, and to obtain user feedback.
Develops and deliver distributed network learning management systems for instructional technologies for online courses and collaborative tools.
Provide web- designer expertise to develop and deliver online instructional content and tools.
Conduct classroom and ad-hoc orientation training products marketing material (announcements, newsletters, and PowerPoint presentations).
Develop relational databases for learning management systems and deliver instructional technologies for online courses.
Install and debug applications on multiple servers, troubleshoot connection issues and PKI related issues across user base.
Verify all security protocols are current and valid.
Manage external provider licenses, products, and services (IDAM, PKI/AUDIT, ABAC, COMM CME virtual servers, TopClass, Adobe).
Manage day-to-day IT and software operations of multiple virtual services and team member workstations on JWICS and SIPR platforms.
Provide assistance to users, including troubleshooting and tech support.
Create, maintain, and upgrade backend of all custom-built Distance Learning web sites, databases, and applications. Maintain and update PKI integration components.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ working in an operational environment.
