The candidate will be part of an engineering team performing detailed design, analysis, and integration of RMS products within Advanced Engineering Prototyping Department. As such, the candidate will be a critical member of a development team during all stages of advanced product development for RMS products. The candidate will be responsible for complex mechanical design tasks and coordinating with other functional areas to ensure the quality and reliability of AEP products. Typical work involves the design and development of engineering prototypes and first article testing.
Experience in detailed design and integration of prototype hardware.
6 years of Technical/engineering experience in mechanical design, analysis, and integration of hardware
Working knowledge and experience with CREO Parametric or similar CAD software
Experience applying GD&T methods
Working knowledge of Windows platform and Microsoft office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
Must be eligible for, or have active, DoD SECRET security clearance. Must have INTERIM SECRET clearance before start date
Experience with Unmanned Systems (Aerial, Ground, Underwater)
Knowledgeable about Aeronautical systems
The candidate will demonstrate creativity and ingenuity in designing for complex problems, requiring minimal assistance
Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience working in an integrated team environment
Experience with ANSYS tools
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
