Certify for Crew II Operation Coordinator and Safety/Sanitation Coordinator.
Promptly at the start of the shift review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies and prepare for operations.
Start-up the Refinery in equipment, open valves in the refinery, start vacuum system, open heat exchangers and set temperatures, open refinery filters, caustic valves and north and south crude oil valve. Turn on oil pumps, set oil flow, start in-line mixer and start oil to retention mixer, bleed off air and set water wash temperature.
Start water wash, open valves, set water injection and set switches to send washed oil to tank farm.
Confer with Pumpman to turn on agitators, add phosphoric acid to crude blender, line-up blenders and F2, G2 and storage tanks.
Check refinery system in the control room, perform ICP procedures, obtain samples and pump out A2,
Troubleshoot various conditions; back pressure, break-over, primary shooting, lye and oil flow and adjust, repair, call maintenance or otherwise resolve the problem.
Perform basic maintenance procedures, issue work orders, inspect equipment, change hoses, light bulbs, gaskets, open clean and change strainers, block and bleed lines, replace springs and install filters, clean primary and water wash centrifuges.
Clean-up duties: hose-down refinery floors and wash down machines, mop control room floors, wipe computers, desk, windows and doors. Clean and mop ICP room, and clean-up spilled standards or kerosene.
Upon shutdown, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork.
Set up and operate CIP system for cleaning primary centrifuge discs.
