A competitive salary between £50,000 – 65,000 – dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. About the role

Supporting and challenging the strategic and financial priorities of your business area to support the decisions that deliver strong financial performance. You will engage with stakeholders internally and externally to understand best practice and to influence decision makers. You will actively contribute to your business area to help drive commercial and non-financial performance related decisions. You will support the management of financial risks and the implementation & maintenance of controls. You will support the long term business & financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to drive performance as well as supporting the delivery of the relevant business area’s financial response to price controls whilst maximising future allowances for ongoing investment in infrastructure and services

About you

You will be a strong influencer able to impact the decisions and financial performance of senior stakeholders and their teams throughout the relevant business area. You will be a strong communication skills with proven ability to adapt the style of financial information presentation to suit a range of stakeholders, both financial and non-financial  You will be experienced in Financial analysis and investment appraisal, with track record of successful delivery. You will enjoy business partnering and acting as a trusted advisor using strategic insight to deliver tangible performance improvements. Strong understanding of how value is generated within a regulated business environment would be beneficial.
