General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Administrative Professional with comprehensive knowledge to perform a variety of general support tasks. Qualified candidates should possess knowledge and experienced in the following:

 

  1. Bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology and general office procedures.
  2. Proficiency using computer programs such as Excel and data base systems.
  3. Thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the internet.
  4. Knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data.
  5. Ability to work independently while also displaying excellent customer service skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
  7. Compiles various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.
  8. Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.
  9. Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.
  10. Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as outside contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

 

Qualifications:

1-3 years of related administrative experience.

Education:

Requires a High School Diploma or GED.

Associates Degree preferred.
