SAIC is hiring an AP Auditor (Expense Report focus) in the Shared Services Center, Oak Ridge, TN.


The AP Auditor is responsible for auditing and processing expense reports received through workflow and paperless queues. These items are to be processed timely and accurately in conjunction with SAIC policy. In addition, the AP Auditor is responsible for managing rework items, which may involve interfacing with employees to resolve issues. This role reports to the Travel and Expense Reports Manager.



·         Audit expense reports in the paperless workflow system

·         Ensure appropriate allocation information is provided

·         Handle special handling requests by the internal customer

·         Audit for unallowable expenses

·         Audit to ensure compliance to SAIC policies and FAR regulations

·         Manage open rework items

·         Interface with employees to resolve issues related to expense reports, including rework items and payment status

·         Handle special processes as assigned by management

·         Assist with training as directed



Required Education and Experience:

·         High school or equivalent and five (5) years or more of business-related experience; May accept higher education degrees in lieu of experience.

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Experience with  Microsoft Office Suite  

·         Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and analytical skills


Desired Education and Experience:

·         Experience in Accounts Payable or Expense Reporting preferred

·         Experience with Deltek/Costpoint systems

·         Previous exposure to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, DCAA or other regulatory policies

·         Accounting certificate or degree preferred
