ManTech is seeking an Engineering Technician III for temporary support in Hawaii who will be responsible for the engineering, design,and installation of telecommunications systems and electronic systems. Successfulcandidate will have experience performing repair, maintenance, or installation.Constructs components, sub-units, or simple models or adapts standardequipment. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions. Conducts various tests, orexperiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or proceduresas well as subjective judgments in measurement; selects, sets up, and operatesstandard test equipment and records test data

This is temporary work that will be performed in Hawaii.

Testing and Repair of USCG/USN Electronic Systems including:

LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/SATCOMMCommunications Transmitters and Receivers

X Band and S Band RADAR Systems

Radar PPIConsoles

Transmitand Receive Audio Switchboards

InteriorCommunications systems

DigitalAudio Recorders


MandatorySkills:


Capableof lifting 50 Lbs

Familiarwith the use and application of various types of General Purpose ElectronicTest Equipment (GPETE)

Cable Installationand Banding

Packingof Swage Tubes and Kickpipes

MultiCable Transit (MCT) Assembly

MultipinConnector Fabrication

Knowledgeablein the Methods and Practices related to Shipboard Electrical Installations asdefined by DOD Std-2003 (EPISM)

Must havea passport and be ready to travel to OCONUS locations

Must bewilling to work on shipboard Masts and other elevated locations

Trainedin the use of personal fall protection equipment
