Provide cost effective manufacturing solutions in support of all RPM Customers in a rapid response environment.

This position is for 3rd Shift (10:30 pm to 7 am)

Required Skills:

6 years of experience setting up and running manual mills, vertical machining centers and lathes to include:
Ability to plan, program, machine, deburr and inspect parts in a rapid response environment
Ability to plan and build holding fixtures for hog-outs and castings
Skilled in correct selection of cutting tools, feeds and speeds for machining of aluminum and various stainless steels
Skilled in the use of various manual inspection tools including Brown & Sharpe Microheight
Ability to communicate plans and issues to other shifts, Methods & Tooling personnel, and Engineers
In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and engineering drawings
Determine and load axis and fixture offsets
Input of tool length and diameter offsets
Experience running critical tolerance parts
Thorough knowledge of N/C programming and editing for Fanuc controls.
Maintain process control through in-process adjustments and inspections
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Must be able to routinely lift and handle up to 28 pounds
Effective communication skills

Desired Skills:

Strong experience in the use of Virtual Gibbs for programming 3 and 4 axis vertical machines
Strong experience in the use of ProE and Common PDM for retrieving CAD models and integrating them into GibbsCamExperience using Renishaw probes and macros for machine set up and tool compensation
Analysis of CMM inspection results to make final machine adjustments
Ability to adapt to changing product requirements
Positive, proactive attitude and work approach
Effective time management skills to support multi-tasking and deburr associated with position
