Description:The Senior Financial Analyst - G/L position is responsible for:
• Account Analysis and ensuring financial subsystems collect data correctly
• Preparation of many and coordination of all journal entries and account reconciliations, including inter-entity and intercompany transactions
• Assisting the Controller in preparation of consolidated trial balances and financial reports
• Translation of intercompany cross-charges from Corporate transactions to proper LifePort charging objectives
• Support of FP&A data calls that require data collection and analysis of actual or historical financial data
• Financial control process analysis, documentation, and improvement
• Development and maintenance of processes and controls to integrate local processes with Corporate managed functions in Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management
• Assisting the Controller in coordinating and responding to audits and reviews
Basic Qualifications:
Required qualifications include:

•• Familiarity with GAAP principles and guidelines
• Familiarity with modern ERP systems and job cost systems
• Demonstrated expertise with Excel, familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Experience with job-costing and cost accounting systems
• Experience with accounting for Federal contract costs under the FAR
• MBA, M.S. degree in Business or related field
• Minimum five years’ experience in Accounting, Controller, or related fields
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and address quick-turn priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively
