Description:Seeking experienced Computer Operations Support Analyst to support the Space Fence Operations Center (SOC) located in Huntsville, AL. Tasking includes performing mission operations, computer maintenance and reconfiguration on Digital Processing Group and Mission Subsystem, managing communications equipment, network administration, information assurance, data recording/data management. Additional responsibilities may include cross-training with team members to learn and perform radar operations. Successful candidate shall provide a continuous level of engineering services support at the Space Fence Operations Center (SOC) located in Huntsville, AL.
Basic Qualifications:
•Advanced working knowledge and skills associated with computer based maintenance related to digital processing systems/subsystems utilizing Linux, Microsoft, and/or other operating systems.
•CompTIA Security+ Certification with a demonstrated experience in working with Network Administration and Information Assurance Functions.
•Demonstrated experience with the management of electronic communications equipment
•Familiarity with Space Operations and/or Radar Operations in a military/civilian environment.
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to take direction and perform to exacting standards
•Security Clearance: DoD SECRET
•U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one is required
Desired Skills:
•Knowledge of the space surveillance network and satellite catalog is desirable
•Associates or bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
•Cisco Certified Networking Associate and/or Cisco Certified Networking Professional
•CompTIA Linux+
•Microsoft Technical Certifications
