Interested in joining us at Lockheed Martin Coherent Technologies as an Electronics Engineer? If so, you will work on:

• Architecture definition and detailed design for analog circuits for laser, imaging, and electro-optic systems

• Analog electronics design and analysis

• Integration and test activities

This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in a rapid prototyping and research and development-oriented environment where your designs will be quickly developed and built to support early proof of concept testing -- while also making sure that the design has a defined path to support later production/flight use.

This exciting leadership position is in a dynamic, high-energy research organization developing innovative capabilities. You will participate in a variety of design, analysis, testing and integration tasks in electronics design supporting electro-optic and/or laser systems.


THE TASKS ARE ANTICIPATED TO INCLUDE:

• Architecture development

• Algorithm development

• Simulation

• Detailed design

• Documentation

• Verification

• Integration/test disciplines

Your team is collaborative, highly dynamic, high-energy and research-oriented while developing innovative technologies. You will have the opportunity to participate in a very wide variety of tasks throughout the program life-cycle.




You will typically have 14 - 20 years of professional experience for this role.

If selected, you will need to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience in the design of analog and power circuits.

• Expertise in modeling and analysis tools such as OrCAD PSpice.

• Previous leadership work in electronics architecture development, integration and test.

• This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, thus you need to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Flight electronics design

• Control systems theory and design

• LabVIEW, MatLab, C++software

• Worst Case Analysis

• Leadership of teams performing electronics design

• Experience developing electro-optic and laser systems.
