Position: 857-Process Improvement Analyst Type: Full Time Location: Dayton, Ohio
FTI is looking for highly qualified and experienced acquisition professionals to fill a critical Light Attack Aircraft (LAA) Program Process Improvement Analyst at WPAFB, OH. The LAA Process Improvement Analyst will work with the Program Office to analyze current performance processes, procedures and metrics. They will also help evaluate desired end states and process improvements. The process consultants will develop and transformation roadmap to help the Program Office move from the current state to the desired end state. Examples of tasks include SharePoint development (to include metadata), Onboarding, process automation, and process standardization.
Ideally, these individuals would be mid-tier to high-tier in terms of employment length, experience and education. They should be subject matter experts and have a federal acquisition background.
Job Duties Summary:
Human Performance Assessment
The Process Improvement Analyst will conduct human performance assessments. The objective is to rapidly establish the main HSI features of a scenario and determine the essential differences in those features when comparing the human/system performance of two or more scenarios. The overall approach borrows from the Unified Process in that it is iterative and incremental and may be employed in an Agile lifecycle.
The Process Improvement Analyst will identify impacts to the following HSI domains as appropriate:
Tasks include the decomposition and benchmarking of people, process, and technology aspects of as-is and to-be designs.
Organizational Transformation--LAA PMO Technology-Enabled Transformation Roadmap
The Process Improvement Analyst will develop a transformation roadmap to guide subsequent activities in alignment with PMO priorities. The roadmap will incorporate Human Performance Assessment Framework (HPAF) outputs to ensure decision-makers receive a holistic view that include HSI factors. Having such a holistic view will contribute to the development of future-state designs that enable mission/program success.
The Contractor shall provide Action Plans within two-week sprints. The Contractor shall support execution of objectives through monitoring, organizing, planning, and executing activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors or Organizational Leadership desired
Minimum of 10 years’ experience is required
Understanding of AF Program Office operations and organization required
Master’s Degree or post-graduate degree in a related field preferred
Knowledge of agile development desired
PMP or DAU PM Certifications a plus
