Description:-Leads and manages the Special Repair Activity (SRA) in Killeen, Texas for the operations of the SRA to accomplish to depot-level repairs for selected components of the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M-TADS/PNVS).
-The employee will lead the SRA to accomplish tasks in repairs, refurbishments, modifications, or reset of M-TADS/PNVS components or other SRA critical tasks in support of Apache Fire Control program objectives.
-The position also requires the candidate to interface with the Apache Fire Control program staff in Orlando or at other SRAs and responds to requirements for modifications, refurbishments, and repairs of M-TADS/PNVS hardware to meet contract requirements.
-The candidate will also be responsible for all site activities which include:
- Receipt, storage, shipping, and inventory control of M-TADS/PNVS related inventory and ensures all flight hardware related inventory is maintained and controlled in Apache Fire Control’s Asset Management System (AMS).
-Maintaining the logistics integration of the SRA in the AFC sustainment network.
-Ensuring the receipt and shipment of all M-TADS/PNVS related hardware at the SRA and maintains direct control of all M-TADS/PNVS related hardware.
-Analyzing requirements for repair parts for repairing M-TADS/PNVS hardware and ensuring requirements are satisfied directly from Apache Fire Control and shipped to the SRA from its Depot Support Facility or from another Apache SRA.
-Maintenance, repair, calibration, and/or /replacement of test equipment and tooling and determines the appropriate channel (program, capital, overhead) for work to be accomplished.
-Assigned manpower budgets for the SRA and ensures all SRA operations are executed within assigned budgets.
-Providing status of hardware, manpower, and equipment to management and customers as required.
-Site administration, facility management, maintenance, security, Information Technology and interfaces with appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to obtain support for continuing depot operations.
-Employees training and certifications.
-Compliance to all company, corporate, state, and federal policies, regulations, and/or laws for the control, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste generated by the site in the performance of its operations.
-Compliance to all contract requirements applicable to site operations.
-Compliance to company and customer/contract requirements for the use, control, and accountability of Government Property.
-Integration of M-TADS/PNVS systems at the Boeing Mesa AH-64 production facility
-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
-Must have at least 14 years of professional experience.
-Strong leadership skills with knowledge with proven experience in leading employees at technical and non-technical roles.
-Knowledge and experience in managing employees to accomplish objectives.
-Knowledge and experience in warehouse operations and basic warehouse machinery.
-Knowledge and experience with flight line operations, test equipment, and inventory control.
-Knowledge and experience in policies and procedures for the control of Government property.
-Knowledge and experience working with hazardous materials.
-Understand Supply Chain Management & stand-alone depot operations.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements.
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
-Project management experience
-Active Secret security clearance
-Knowledge and experience of military flight sensor hardware
