Lockheed Martin is seeking an Inspector Specialist to be a part of the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team based in Orlando, FL. The position will require working flexible hours. The primary area of responsibility will be the Supplier Quality Assurance Non-Conformance Cage. Duties include:

Perform product verification and inspections using a variety of techniques including visual examination and dimensional measurement. Performs these verifications to the requirements of specifications, procedures, drawings, work instructions, industry standards, or other contractually required documents.

Collaborates with various functions to ensure quality standards are in place and ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

Deficiency Analysis/Reporting, and other issues related to quality as they occur. Generate and prepare electronic documentation on nonconforming hardware requiring material review disposition approval.

Perform general and periodic surveillance of work and associated areas. Suggest improvement ideas to improve performance and methods.

Coordinates and documents defects with the program Procurement Quality Engineer and Procurement Quality Management. In addition, may monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.






Keep Quality and Program management apprised of all discrepancies that could impact schedules.

Watch incoming receipts for 65OR and 65S3 plants to determine if material is missing inspection plans and add material to inspection plans if missing.

Ensure defective material (Z6 Qnotes) continues to flow from receiving to the SQA cage and then into stock upon corrective actions to the material. Involves obtaining solid corrective actions from Program Quality and IPT.

Ensure repair PO material contains FAR data upon return to LM. Maintain FAR report for communication to Program Quality.

Help Program Quality disposition material that is rejected upon receipt.

Perform QA hold inspections for material that is held at receipt by Program Quality.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support business needs

Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

Strong attention to details; Must be detail-oriented; accuracy of work is essential.

Good written and oral communication skills

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Excel

Skills and abilities necessary to inspect various assemblies such as electrical/electronic, mechanical, instrumentation top assemblies, sub-assemblies, cables, harnesses, printed circuit boards, etc.

Ability to interpret drawings including parts list, schematic, running list, and interconnect diagrams, sketches, specifications and electronic manufacturing work instructions.

Non-conformance process experience and ability to generate and assist in documentation for non-conformances requiring material review and disposition approval.

Ability to work well with others. Excellent teaming is a must.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Orlando RMS specific processes and systems in particular receiving

Knowledgeable in SAP/ERP, P2P, COS, BI/BW, Advanced in Microsoft Office Applications
