Description:The Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team is seeking a college intern to work a 12 week project associated with the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities during the summer of 2018 . This position will be assigned to an existing domestic or international customer in the execution of various program ILS activities, which could include some or all of the following:
- Studies and business case analyses related to material management, supply chain management, inventory & supply support activities, depot repair operations, process improvement.
- Developing information system tools using MS Office or other products in support of data collection and analysis.
- Coordination with other Program disciplines within an integrated Product Team environment, to include Production Operations, Finance, Contracts and Engineering, to support on-going program operations
- Preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a supply chain management, engineering, or business management degree program.
3.0 GPA or above.
Proficiency using MS Excel and other MS Office applications to analyze data and report findings.
Excellent communication skills.
