Description:The candidate will support Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Ocala with Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) compliance efforts. The candidate will represent the Ocala ESH organization and assist in shaping the ESH culture within their areas of responsibility. The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate a collaborative style with peers and leadership. Integral to this is effective implementation of several Ocala ESH initiatives including exhaust ventilation surveys, air and noise monitoring, ergonomic evaluations, incident investigations, and contribution to corporate Target Zero and Go Green initiatives.
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Ability to interpret, apply, self-assess and communicate regulatory compliance requirements.
Potential for detail-oriented work practices with good problem solving skills and results.
Ability to develop new and innovative methods to increase employee awareness of, and engagement in, ESH compliance programs/initiatives.
Able to provide excellent oral and written communication skills
