Description:Flight Operations Analyst. Responsible for a multitude of tasks as assigned by the Chief of Fighter Flight Operations and Lead Dispatcher, supporting fighter flight operations worldwide. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly tracking of aircrew qualifications, currencies and training. Maintaining training records for all flight crew.
Completing monthly reports for distribution. Scheduling appointments for flight crew as needed (physicals, altitude chamber, etc…). Providing support for visiting dignitaries and corporate aircraft. Supporting execution of the daily flight schedule to include pre-flight planning, weather briefing, scheduling airspace, real-time monitoring of weather and aircraft during flight operations, and post-flight support. Assisting the Lead Dispatcher in completion of required aircrew documentation as assigned. Executing emergency procedures in the case of aircraft mishaps and conducting mishap drills. Participating in audits on processes and record keeping. Must be capable of developing and maintaining a positive working relationship across internal and external organizations to include DCMA, FAA, LM Aero programs, and the Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth. Attention to detail a must.
Must have a valid passport. This position will require both domestic and international travel.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Experience as a flight dispatcher or pilot.
Experience using a flight operations database such as Flight Operations Software (FOS).
Customer relations experience.
FAA licensed pilot, FAA licensed Aircraft Dispatcher, or Air Traffic Controller experience.
Familiarity with military aircrew currency and training requirements.
Experience making presentations to large and small groups.
