Food Services - Manager

Provides leadership and direction to all levels of Food Service, Administrative, and Warehouse personnel in order to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of food service in military dining facilities. Ensures resources are applied to achieve the highest standards of service in order to meet or exceed client specifications. Monitors food service standards and processes, manages budgetary constraints, and completes relevant documentation. Implements and evaluates training programs and completes relevant documentation as well as monitoring employee performance of KBRwyle Food Service staff and subcontractor personnel . Ensures compliance with client/company health and safety regulations. Plans and oversees the execution of special functions. Has hiring authority and the necessary experience to evaluate and hire the correct caliber of Food Service staff.

Has Additional Qualifications and/or Experience in:

Be able to obtain and maintain food service medical clearance

The ability to operate and provide service in austere locations

Knowledge of Military (Tri - Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and policies governing, at a minimum, food storage, preparation, and serving.

Knowledge of AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TM 4-41.11 and TM 4-41.12

years’ experience successfully Supervising/Managing multiple dining facilities and all facets of food services and DFAC management.

Must have Manager Serve Safe Certification and be able to obtain Servsafe proctorship.

Self-starter and self-motivation are essential.

Strong supervisory and organizational skills required.

Required to follow the proper procedures to provide food service support within the scope by having the proper administration procedures in place (Letter of Technical Direction and Notice To Proceed procedures).

Prior military must be E-7 and above former Mess Management Special or Culinary Specialist rating if Navy or equivalent MOS for other service.

Logistics.

Establishes production standards, monitors compliance.

Preferred;

Certified Culinary Certification issue by the American Culinary Federation or other accreditation or military experience.

Completion of at least one year of formal training as a professional Chef or Food Service Manager.

Detailed knowledge and experience of food procurement.

Knowledge and experience of various food preparation methods.

AFMIS and STORES experience.

Additional requirements:

Must be fluent in English

Must possess passport book with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining

Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
