ConAgra Brands is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate for our Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin, LLC plant located in Milwaukee, WI. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for learning and becoming proficient at preparing product/freight on the dock, freezer, plant and warehouse area for movement. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations, and laws addressing food safety and food quality as well as environmental safety in accordance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops an understanding of and prepares for the work for the day, including production occurring, incoming and outgoing shipments, appointments and priorities
Learns and becomes proficient in the preparation of outbound freight including accurately retrieving products from the warehouse or freezer and assuring accurate documentation and paperwork with products being shipped and completes required records
Wraps pallets neatly and safely and according to company standards and customer and freight carrier requirements
Use FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory control methods to choose product to be shipped and to store finished product
Operates equipment only as trained and certified to operate (may include stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts, baler and compactor)
Supports standards for food safety and food quality reflected in SQF 2000 as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA
Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive Primary focus of all business related efforts are and must remain that of promoting excellence in all products

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
Requires a minimum of one year of work experience including safe forklift operation
Requires the ability to communicate fluently in English to work with customers and vendors and uses clear written and oral communication skills to complete shipping and receiving documents
Requires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Requires basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as: Word, Excel and Outlook
Requires teamwork ability and a positive attitude
SAP experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The employee works in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions ranging between 20 to 45 degrees. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts, and in high places. He/she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is moderate noise in the work environment.
