This position will require this person to respond to dispatched emergency calls, (will be on-call maybe required to work night shift) and mitigation damages at a loss location due to events from fire, water and/or storm damage. The person will obtain details of new losses & explaining the emergency service process to owners along with updating the insurance company. Be responsible for new emergency service jobs/assignments, interfaces with clients, insurance adjusters and property managers. Collect signed authorization forms from property owner and insurance adjuster contact information. Coordinates specialized trade services if/when necessary, collects subsequent subcontractor invoices needed to create and complete invoice.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Visits new assignments/jobs, interface with the client, and sell the job.
  • Calls or meets the customer to ensure they are satisfied and collects applicable deductible for work completed.
  • Develops moisture mapping and creates drying-log
  • Engages and manages the appropriate use of subcontractor labor.
  • Upload documentation and photographs

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accesses roofs by means of a40โ€™ ladder, must have the ability to carry up to a 40โ€™ ladder from truck and set it up at the roof line of the associated property.
  • Engages and manages the appropriate use of subcontractor labor.
  • Upload job photographs and documentation.


This job has supervisory responsibilities; Mitigation Technicians will supervise sub-contractors.

Medical Requirements

Jenkins Restorations strives to comply with OSHA for industry safety and cares for the safety and well being of its employees. Below, is a break down of the medical requirements that our first responders are required to complete.
Once hired for one of the above positions, the employee must start the following procedures as soon as possible:

  • DOT Physical
  • Respirator Physical and Fit Test
  • Start first series of Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B shots (also, referred to as TwinRix series)
  • And Tetanus shot

After a month later:

  • ยท Second Hepatitis B shot only OR (second TwinRix shot of series)

Six months later from the first Shot

  • Third Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B OR (third TwinRix shot of series)

Important Note: Missing required time frames for the shots can cause the shot process to star again. We are using several Medical Centers depending on the Branch Location. The authorization forms will be provided by the HR Department to JR employees

Required Skills:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
