The Battle Staff personnel monitors and manages the information of the battle space through SIGACTS, mIRC, JChat, HQ RS TACOPS, MED TACOPS, Adobe, SIPR, JOCWATCH, email and phone. He/she coordinates and implements the Battle Drills and operational conditions checks, updates TAAC-S SIGACT reporting with updates to all incoming SIGACTS. He/she tracks and monitors the current fight, and reviews daily fires EXSUMs and monitors all fire support, close air support, and electronic warfare missions. The Battle Staff personnel prepares the daily SITREP and is responsible for facilitating and maintaining communications; conducting a weekly COMSEC changeover. He/she monitors land lines and radios (PRC 117, TACSAT, etc. and directs and disseminates to the appropriate functional areas. Monitors RS Secret systems IOT facilitate communication with other Coalition units. He/she prepares the Commander’s Update Assessment, and other meetings pertaining to operations. Responsible to create/edit/update briefings and presentations as required by OIC/NCOIC. Will conduct research and data collection required to create/edit/update those presentations in support of meetings, briefings, requests for information or as required in support of routine and non-routine projects.

BS/BA Degree


    1. The Contractor is required to have the following qualifications to fill this position:
      a. Citizen of the United States.
      b. Possess an active Secret clearance.
      c. Possess a military background at the operational/tactical level as a U.S. military battle staff coordinator having attained the rank of E7, CW3, O3 or higher.
      d. If the applicant has served in the military they must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military). Personnel who have been discharged with a characterization of “General under other than honorable”, “Bad Conduct”, or “Dishonorable” are disqualified from this position.
      e. Computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Internet Explorer.
      f. Able to share, visually display, and brief significant activities and intelligence in real time among multiple collaborators, and across different applications and machines.
