The Financial Planning organization has a rare opportunity for a strong experienced analyst who will provide assistance on our financial metrics with a focus on international sites and segment level assumption consistency across financial departments. This person will be accountable to senior management, Corporate, and the Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the FP&A team.

The person chosen for this role will:
- Obtain a breadth of knowledge of all RMS metrics
- Acquire knowledge on the financial statements, OPS reviews, 5-year and AOP
- Responsible for coordination and strategy of international and other non APEX sites into our Rplan toolset including but not limited to RSL, RSF, Australia, and Canada
- Provide summary assumptions for all FP&A departments for our international sites (Rates, Budgets, FP&A)
- Analyze monthly forecasts in particular for our international non APEX sites (RSL, RSF, Australia, Canada) and communicate to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) management team using standard company tools and processes
- Coordinate with each international site a monthly and quarterly cadence and review template

- Ensure consistency across PLs and FP&A functions (rates, budgets, and resource planning) for segment level financial impacts (unallowables, over / under, capital assumptions and more)
- Develop strong systems skills to become a liaison for the user community
- Interpret, continuallymonitor, maintain, identify improvements, and execute the business processes and procedures, while reducing and simplifying tasks and sustaining efficiencies throughout the organization
- Assist in restoring the integrity of records to ensure that all metrics are aligned and connected
- Ensure that your assignments are prioritized and completed on schedule with adequate time allotted for management review
- Partner with programs, accounting, and FP&A team by coordinating general close activities
- Assist and contribute with FP&A brown bag training sessions, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) requests, reviewing of reports in support of the monthly operations review, reporting for Quarterly Corporate CFO reviews, what-if scenarios to support outlook projections of the Annual Operating Plan and Five-Year planning

Minimum Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or Economics, minimum 4 years related experience or a Master degree and 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment team environment

- Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in small groups
- Extremely organized; can easily track various revision scenarios
- Confident level of exposure to reportable metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash)
- Solid abilities relating to financial systems (SAP, BW, etc.), and tools (Program on a Page, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Works exceptionally well in a team environment, but also enjoys working individually

Highly Desired Skills:
- Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Has the drive to streamline and improve forecast accuracy
- Experience in program finance (managing multiple contracts, earned value management, Estimate at Complete (EACs)
