ABOUT THIS POSITION
Seeking highly qualified Principle Technical Professional (Engineer/Scientist) with Defense Strategy experience to support intelligence customer training and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with Intelligence Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other intelligence stakeholders, to identify opportunities for AI/ML injects within existing architectures.
Identifies and develops machine learning solutions to meet intelligence user requirements (e.g. classification, regression, clustering), in closed test environments and assists in transitioning those tools into intelligence Programs of Record
Develops data validation strategies to ensure data: quality, security, and conformity.
Works with functional experts to train models and adjust their parameters in order to enhance accuracy and functionality.
Minimum three years programming experience in common open source data science languages (e.g. Python, R, node.js, or) and an academic background in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
Supports End-User Engagement events by providing top level briefings on data science and machine learning capabilities, facilitating AI/ML enhancement discussions, and assisting in testing and evaluation events.
Works with other intra-service, joint, Defense Department, federal, industry, and academic organizations in order to keep up-to date with new machine learning technologies capable of meeting current and future enterprise requirements.
Aids solution development teams (program managers, engineers, intelligence analysts) in identifying areas that would strategically enhanced through AI/ML capability integration.
Experience in creating and deploying AI/ML tools in AWS is a plus.
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with the ability to hold a security clearance
Possess an active SSBI clearance at the TS/SCI clearance level
Education and Experience:
Candidates shall have a minimum of the following education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, Systems or Industrial Engineering; Physics; or Computer Science or 10 years relevant experience.
Six (6) years of experience in support of Information Warfare (IW) Exploitation Systems, Threat Warning, and Detection Systems to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Three (3) years of technical experience in support of working with new IW and Threat Warning program system architectures, parameters for fleet IW and Threat Warning systems/ components, engineering application proposals for integration of Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment, and performing concept feasibility studies.
