The Electrical Subsystems Directorate (ESD) Product Technology Center (PTC) is seeking an Electrical Engineer II with strong Digital Electronics design and analysis skills to join our divers and dynamic team.

The Mission Computers and Processors Department, as part of the Product Technology Center, provides digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space, to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.

We are seeking current/upcoming college graduates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers. The candidate will utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multiprocessor designs.

Job Description

The candidate will have interests, studies, research or experience with technical theories and concepts in digital design, with general knowledge of other related disciplines. The candidate will work in a team environment performing circuit card hardware design and analysis, supporting fabrication and assembly, and using test and integration to validate the design. Designs include technology of processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART.

The candidate provides technical solutions to a wide range of problems. Candidates will work with technical lead to determine and develop solutions that contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects. ?

All Candidates will work within a larger team at Raytheon and will have access to a variety of career development opportunities. These include access to technical mentors and the ability to "shadow" experienced Raytheon professionals in order to better learn about real industry positions.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment

Required Skills:

Course work in one or more of the following areas: digital circuit design,digital electronics, lab course work, and signal and/or power integrity. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired?Education (including Major):

Pursuing or have obtained within the past 18 months a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.?Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is desired.
