The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide support to the F-15 Japan Program Mission Assurance Manager. This support will include support of Corrective Action Board analysis activities, various program analysis including trending defect analysis, various audit activities, root cause and corrective action activities (RCCA), support of yield improvement teams, change control board, and various program review team meetings. This individual will also be responsible for generating corrective action requests, charts and graphs representing completion of evaluations/audits, findings and observations. In addition, this individual will assist the F-15 Japan Program teams in other assigned duties, including data review and analysis, charting, reporting, etc.
Required Skills:

  • A 4 year degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Experience communicating progress, and results to teams
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Ability to function effectively in a change oriented environment, including willingness to travel
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Familiarity with airborne radar systems
  • Working knowledge of Failure Review Analysis Corrective Action System (FRACAS)

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics by Summer 2019 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
Desired Education:

Advanced Quality Engineering degree

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
