Applications and Parts engineer supporting new designs, and new and mature production programs in the defense industry. Primary activities will include component selection, obsolescence management, resolution of production issues, supplier corrective actions, and serving as the primary technical contact to our suppliers for mechanical hardware, electromechanical assemblies and other commodities as needed. The applicant will also be expected to create and/or maintain software tools. Applicant will represent Raytheon in various industry associations.
The candidate is expected to work on his or her own with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal direction. The candidate will work independently to solve problems and communicate solutions to both co-workers and program customers. Candidate will work directly with Raytheon customers to clarify requirements, manage priorities and ensure the customer needs are met.
