ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Logistics/Operations specialist supports test range operations at the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake, CA. The selected candidate is responsible for organizing, maintaining and repairing the functionality for all test site assets and troubleshooting malfunctions.

The candidate will work with contract/government personnel, such as the KBRwyle Site Lead, Logistics lead, and Test Managers/Coordinators to ensure all required logistics/facilities operations are maintained.

Additional duties may include the following: installation/upgrade of test materials and products; provide technical solutions and support to ensure technical requirements are met in accordance with customer requirements; and provide asset inventory management and auditing functions as required.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

An associates degree or two (2) years of experience with inventory management or with test equipment is required.

Selected candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.

Working knowledge or experience with electronics in a testing environment is desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, priority management and experience demonstrating effective interaction with subordinates, peers, and senior management is required.

A valid driver's license is required.

Other duties may include obtaining a forklift/man-lift/scissor lift license; working extended hours and outdoors; heavy lifting (30 to 50 lbs); working on ladders/man-lift baskets; and working in hazardous or environmentally harsh environments.

Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
