Ability to work in a fast paced, high tech environment, balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks with minimal supervision and direct work of others.
This person will be the POC for Overhaul to the customer(s) and Supervisor.
In depth knowledge of Gas Turbine design, test and manufacturing systems.
Resolves complex challenges involving highly technical and scientific methods.
Documents results and conclusions and incorporates findings into formal specifications and instructions.
Participates in establishing operating procedures or best known methods.
Plans and performs effective periodic briefings to customers, and management using advanced statistical and other scientific methods
to assure product integrity.
Determines acceptability and manufacturability of processes with customer expectation.
Recommends and implements innovative solutions based on proven best practices.
Provides technical consultation to others. Contributes to technical project teams with ability to perform both hands on, detailed, tasking
and mentor/develop similar or relative skills in others.
Evaluates and implements innovations and technological advancements that improve quality, reduce flow time, improve performance
and reduced operational cost.
This also includes but not limited to First Pass Yield (FPY).
Phoenix, Arizona with 50% travel.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 4-6 years with a BS in Aerospace engineering directly related to machine shop, assembly, test, turbine engine, aviation, or military experience.
Must be a US citizen to obtain clearance to work on post.
Excellent written and oral communication skills within all levels of internal organization and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and provide manufacturing,
cost effective, solutions within given schedule expectations.
Ability to management multiple projects.
Previous experience in process reclamation of Turbine Engine Components
