About the role

Fixed Asset Accountant maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, relevant General Ledger accounts and providing management reporting to stakeholders including Finance Business Partners.


As part of this role the fixed asset accountant will maintain the Fixed Asset Register and General Ledger in line with National Grid accounting policies and control framework.  This includes ensuring the integrity of data flows from interfaced systems, transaction processing, month end close activities, balance sheet and other reconciliations, chart of account maintenance.


This role will also include the production and review of management information relating to capex including actuals, budget and forecasts.

About you

  • You will be a Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc.) with experience of reporting financial information;
  • External auditor requirements and delivery
  • Understanding of Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Fixed Assets reporting
  • Finance partnering
  • SAP expertise
