QC Manager will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies and KBRwyle’s Zero Harm program. He/she is a single overall manager and point of contact for all Quality functions both maintenance and supply performed on the APS-4; oversees the entire quality control and process improvement program; responsible for drafting and implementing a Quality Control Plan included in the plan will be KBRwyle’s approach to attaining and maintaining ISO 9001:2008 certification; proactively discovers, analyzes, resolves discrepancies, weak points and bottlenecks within the operation by utilizing scheduled/unscheduled inspections, surveillance inspection, quality metrics, six sigma methodology and ISO 9001:2008 quality management system; ensures required plans, procedures, work instructions and quality records are developed, maintained and followed by operational personnel; is responsible for maintaining a Corrective Action System and that all corrective actions are brought to a satisfactory conclusion; provides supervision, training guidance to Quality Control Inspectors and ensures they are properly qualified; performs other duties as assigned by program leadership.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
Possess an active Secret Clearance is mandatory
Ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation.
Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management or Engineering, Logistics Management, Production Management, Operations Management, Business Management or related Engineering. Equivalent experience in the Quality Field may be substituted for part or all of the education/technical school requirement if deemed in the best interest of the company.
Possesses a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a ‘plus’, but not required.
Certificate from a vocational school or other recognized source such as a military school with a major study in electrical or automotive repair is preferred.
In lieu of formal course work, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.
Eight to ten years of quality or operational experience with 7 years being in a management or supervisory capacity.
Ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.
Ability to analyze processes.
Ability to analyze maintenance repair, logistics or other operation to determine methods of improvement.
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
Strong written and oral communication.
Required to pass initial and periodic drug screening.
