Ensure all non-medical equipment, including vehicles, ASIOE, material
handling equipment, heating and air conditioning equipment, dolly sets, power generation, and environmental control units are maintained and repaired in a timely manner; and that associated maintenance reports are completed in accordance with PWS, CMDP and associated regulations. Monitor Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS), AOAP, fuel logs, equipment services, ensure maintenance records are accurately entered in GCSS-Army, Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) or other required databases.
8-10 years of related experience in mechanical production, assembly or construction.
Two years supervisory experience with one year in a unit-level operation. Two years’ experience in the Armed Services as a heavy wheeled vehicle, power generation, or refrigeration mechanic, with two of those years within unit-level operations or equivalent civilian background.
Unique/Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license/CDL. Effective communications skills. Computer literate with current Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Systems and possess a working knowledge of current Army automated supply systems.
