A competitive salary between £50,000 – £60,000 – dependent on capability

About the role

  • To provide assurance that the Performance Excellence strategy is being driven and sustained effectively.
  • To transfer capability into the Leadership and Improvement communities, in order to embed and sustain a performance excellence culture within and across functions, resulting in the delivery of continuous improvement, value creative for Customers and the Company and engaged employees.
  • To proactively engage with Senior Leaders to understand improvement opportunities aligned to business strategy. Own and drive improvements against a portfolio of improvement projects driving value for customers.

About you

  • A strong understanding of Performance Excellence (or alternative Lean principles) and associated tools and techniques
  • The ability to identify complex problems and challenges, analyse the root cause and identify, test and implement appropriate solutions through utilisation of advanced problem solving and leans skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management approaches
  • The ability to build good relationships at all levels across the business
  • The ability to mentor, coach and train all levels across the business
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of change culture
  • The ability to drive and deliver benefit optimisation of continuous improvement projects
  • Knowledge of existing Business Management Systems within the Business Entity would be advantageous
  • A strong track record of influencing and managing upward.
  • Driving innovation through areas of thought leadership (i.e. Automation)
  • Practical application of applying tools and embedding behaviours associated with Performance Excellence
  • LCS 1C or equivalent, Degree level qualification or comparable industry experience
