Intel/Threat planer with expertise dealing with threats to the U.S Army/DoD interests worldwide in Air and Missile Defense (AMD) in support of planning and executing Joint Air and Missile Defense Exercises and Assessments. Planner should have experience with intelligence collection capabilities to include but not limited to: theater-level/operational-echelon enemy theater air-breathing threat forces (including manned and unmanned aerial systems), anti-radiation missiles and (ARM), air- or sea-launched cruise missiles) and tactical ballistic missile (TBM) threat forces. Planner will assist in threat scenario design, task organization, and identifying deficiencies within AMD operations in both real-world and training-scenario specifics. This includes the ability to realistically portray the growing asymmetric threats to ground-based air and missile defense units, emplacement sites, organic and networked sensors architectures, and critical supporting resupply/rearming/communication infrastructures designed to significantly disrupt, degrade, or destroy friendly unit ABT/TBM operations. The Planner should have previous maneuver planning experience at brigade or higher organizations (Division, Corps). Planner will liaise with supported Army Service Component Command (ARCENT), Air Force Service Component Command (AFCENT), and subordinate organizations to plan and resource joint exercises to validate unit readiness and facilitate future force development and joint interoperability.
HS or equivalent with 8
years of experience or BS Degree with 4
years or Master's and 0-2 years of relevant experience required. Experience with Intel analyst in Air and Missile Defense (AMD) required. Requires an active US security clearance which requires US citizenship. Military Intelligence experience is desired.
Observer Coach/Trainer Computer assisted simulation training desired. Army Training Exercise design is also desired.
