Job Description:


  • SAIC has a full-time position for a Training Analyst, supporting the Center for Surface Combat Systems Infrastructure Readiness (N4) Dept.

Job Responsilbitlies:


  • Provide direct technical training support for the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) Infrastructure Readiness (N4) department.
  • Responsibilities include functioning as the CSCS/N4 Action Officer for CSCS Learning Sites (LS), performing analysis and evaluation of requirements related to Technical Training Equipment (TTE), Training Devices (TD), security and facility issues, simulation tools, and various applications.
  • Also requires participation in engineering/design reviews, analyses of system hardware documentation for potential impact to training system configurations, coordinating training equipment installations and training facility modifications.
  • The position will involve reviews of Naval Training System Plans (NTSP), Training Systems Installation Plans (TSIP) and Training Project Plans (TPP) to identify equipment, facility and configuration changes necessary for delivery, along with evaluation, recommendations for change or approval, funding and implementation.
  • Candidates must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, and interface directly with customers.
  • The position will require work coordination, schedule conflict resolution, involve multiple efforts and organizations working to meet CSCS N4 goals while eliminating or minimizing the impact on training production, and interpretation of program policies.
  • Some travel, possibly 10 to 25% of the time, is required



Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or an additional 4 years experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Skills:


  • Strong technical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
  • Experience in generating high-level presentations.
  • Experience in analysis of infrastructure planning and in determining the impact on readiness and user functionality.
  • Experience in the analysis of impacts to proposed changes to facility configurations, utilizing design documents and high level interface diagrams.
  • Familiarization with providing information in response to Headquarters level inquiries.

Desired Skills:


  • Experience in the design and/or maintenance of complex U.S. Naval Combat and or Training Systems with emphasis on training materials/configurations.

Required Clearances:


  • Applicant must possess a SECRET security clearance.
