Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze malfunctions and inspect, install, maintain and troubleshoot integrated avionic communication, navigation and penetration aids systems at the organizational level
• Operate integrated avionic communication, navigation and penetration aids systems by using proper cathode ray tube displays
• Analyze equipment operation characteristics to isolate malfunctions to subsystems such as the navigation systems, internal and external electronic warfare systems and communication systems
• Remove faulty units, install serviceable LRUs into aircraft and perform system alignment and harmonization
• Calibrate bore-sights systems
• Install and perform operational check-outs of ECM equipment
• Perform On-the-Job Training for assigned trainees
• Document all maintenance actions as prescribed by established procedures
• Perform acceptance inspections on newly assigned aircraft and equipment
• Order and receive parts

• Requires a minimum of five years’ experience in USAF AFSC 2A3X1, or equivalent, of which two (2) years must be at the seven (7) level as an F-15 Communications Systems Specialist
• In addition, a minimum of one-year experience in performing supervising functions is also desirable
• The use and interpretation of intermediate level test equipment is also desirable
