ManTech Growth & Capabilities (G&C) is seeking a hands-on solution architect with a passion for User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Engineering, the ability to develop, implement and lead a specific technical strategy based on client and market needs. The ideal candidate will have a high level ability to understand and assess new technologies and understanding their applicability to business.

The candidate will provide technical leadership and service delivery strategy by actively identifying and solving complex problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the team and our customers achieve their objectives. The candidate will provide relevant, thoughtful and prescriptive advice, grounded in relevant experience, with clarity and objectivity. Must manage and implement multiple work streams in a timely manner ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Performs as the Software Architect and Senior Developer for User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) creation, in a small team environment, to solution and develop strategic technical capabilities
  • Responsible for laying out possible architectures and frameworks for Web Applications with a strong focus on the UI and UX aspects to support an exceptional and simple interface capabilities
  • Manages matrixed teams performing system engineering of specialized CND and other types of Web applications include architecture, design, installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Manages the development of solutions to implement Defense in Depth principles and practices
  • Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines
  • Answers technical questions regarding products and services, and may take part in putting together proposals, configurations and product offerings
  • Considered a Lead and may manage the work of others


  • Hands on Web Application Architecture and software development with current UI/UX technologies such as Angular, EXT/JS, Bootstrap, D3/WebGL, HTML 5, CSS3, Java, etc
  • Experience operating within a DevOps pipeline environment
  • Experience designing and development simple and efficient applications designed for ease of use and focused on exceptional user experience
  • Management of matrixed teams performing software development for up to several web applications to include design, installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back-up/restore
  • Experience with software development for commercial applications with a strong focus on configuration management, software documentation, and iterative development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience
  • Minimum of four years experience in technology/tools specific to the target platforms
