AMR Finance is seeking a high-energy finance professional to join our team in McKinney, Texas.

Primary responsibilities include: Project Setup and NWA management, Earned Value Management, Baseline Development and Maintenance, Variance Analysis, Risk and Opportunity assessments, and Estimate at Completion. The selected candidate will collect and report data, analyze data for financial accuracy and trends, and prepare internal and external reports. The financial analyst will review actual costs, coordinate cost/schedule variance analysis, and independently ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures to ensure financial discipline within the program team. Duties will also include providing internal financial planning and analysis updates to bookings, sales, profit, and cash in support of monthly forecasting, AOP, and 5-YR plan.

This role is responsible in ensuring that all required finance inputs are reviewed, analyzed, and submitted on time to meet internal and external deliverables. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required, and the ability to partner with other functions and external customers to meet business expectations is needed.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years related work experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data
  • Good organizational skills in leading/coordinating program team toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, etc.) in program development and execution
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal/external dissemination across varying levels of management
  • Candidate should be self-starter and require minimal supervision
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with EVMS, EAC and Financial Planning
  • Experience with Cost Plus development contracts and reporting
  • Knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Proactive, creative, and possess problem identification, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in organizing, preparing and presenting briefings to Customers, Management and peers
  • Working knowledge of APEX, BW, MRP/PRISM, PMX, Rplan, ETC Tool and related financial systems
  • Industry experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline

Desired Education: Master’s Degree in Finance or related discipline
