This position will provide engineering support for planning, development and execution of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs for the US Army Lower Tier Project Office’s PATRIOT Air and Missile Defense System.

Specific duties include:

Supporting government planning, development, execution and sustainment of FMS cases; Working with PATRIOT International Partners to determine their system requirements and any country unique integration requirements; Assessing and analyzing program status to identify risks, issues and mitigation strategies; Candidate must be able to write clearly, informatively and present program cost, schedule and performance data effectively; Preparing for and supporting technical and program management reviews and conferences with analysis, reports, and briefings associated with FMS programs; Maintaining consistent and routine liaison with appropriate organizations related to program requirements by means of telephone, personal contacts, and meetings to assure successful program execution; Conduct research into project-related issues to ensure compliance with guidelines as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Other Transaction Authorities.


Required skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 25

years’ experience in supporting Air and Missile Defense Weapon Systems; Foreign Military Sales or International Weapon Systems Development experience; PATRIOT Weapon System and individual Elements experience

Desired skills: Master’s Degree; Level III Certifications in Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering (SPRDE), Test and Evaluation and/or Program Management; Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

10% travel may be required. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
